This Thanksgiving, I want to take a break from my regular preoccupations to acknowledge the God-given gifts I often take for granted. Besides our dear families, and our Shining City upon the hill, we are blessed with many simple pleasures, such as the sense of taste (mmmm, pumpkin pie) [...]

I discovered these nontaxable treasures last week under a pile of my papers. The handmade IOUs were secretly created by our daughter one Christmas - a perfect gift from a kid with no money, and worth much more than anything money could buy.
