Following up on my previous post: The Idaho Republican Party issued another news release criticizing Democratic gubernatorial candidate Keith Allred and The Common Interest, the nonpartisan good-government group Allred founded five years ago.

A week ago, Keith Allred was a political wonk with a passion for position papers and no stated party allegiance.
Those high-minded days came to an abrupt halt Wednesday, when the state Republican Party said it would file an IRS complaint against Allred, now the Democratic Party's candidate for governor.
