First up was completing the purple and pink scarf which Katie and I have been crocheting since late summer. She had picked out the two-toned skein of yarn and a pink crochet hook (never mind things like sizes...we shop by color) for her birthday and we double-crocheted [...] 
Day two of NaBloPoMo and I'm already out of topics. Which makes this my official "freebie-topic-about-lack-of-topics" post for the month. It's going to be a long month. [...] 
I will be typing in my password and will accidentally be on the wrong window and will post it as my facebook status or a blog post or something.

This morning we sat on the couch--Katie, Jorge, and me--in a post-pancake haze sharing zerberts and giggles. Suddenly Katie turned to Jorge and announced she had a question for him.Thanks PJ for reminding me of this clip. I had traumatic flashbacks to last night while watching it.

Incidentally, after I posted and went upstairs to see what on earth was important enough to warrant an hour of chirping out "mama" I arrived to find Jorgie sitting calmly in his crib.

...scream BAAAA!!!!!Katie had her play tonight at VBS and was part of the Rowdy Flock O' Sheep for the nativity story, a nice reminder that we can celebrate Jesus's birth all year round without the whole American Christmas hoopla. No attempts at the tree [...]

I'm not sure which version they found acceptable, but the application for Jorge's new proof of citizinship documents (his COC with his updated name) is under review; they cashed our check and sent us a notice that they'd get back to us eventually. [...] 
Uncle Russell is visiting this weekend, finally finishing the process of introducing Jorge to all of his immediate aunts and uncles. Jorge wasn't so sure about him at first, but it didn't take long to decide it was all good.
