Surely you’ve heard now that Alaska Gov. Palin is resigning. But why do so on the day before the 4th of July? It happens to be a Friday, but that won’t bury talk about it. What are we not seeing yet that’s about to blow up? [...] Okay, we're getting our first indication of what happened. It seems like a colossal sulk on Palin's part, or perhaps better to say an effort on her part to ingeniously combine anti-liberal media bias agitation with Christianist politics by portraying herself as having been crucified by' [...]

In a shocking piece of breaking news, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will announce in a news conference this afternoon, that she will not seek reelection, and will resign her position in the near future.

Admittedly trading has been rather difficult the last few weeks. With a couple of exceptions, most days in one form or another have acted like a gap and crap with little volatility after the opening half hour. Making money seems to be precluded on carrying an overnight position premised on [...]
President Obama is headed to Russia next week. The visit is planned to allow discussions on a host of topics: trade, North Korea, missile defense etc. Amongst the laundry list of issues, I find one group’s request to be most interesting. From Reuters:
